"Vile Impalement is a Death Metal band from Delhi, formed with the motive of bringing out good death metal, the band is a coming together of some individuals determined to make music in a genre that has not been well explored in the Indian metal scene. The band is reminiscent of old school Death Metal, and the members have an inclination towards brutal feel of music. The band draws a huge influence from international Death Metal acts like Cannibal corpse, Incantation, and Deicide. The members aim at producing a sound which would show a blend of the old school era, as well as a good heavy, new Death Metal sound. The vocals of the band can be characterized by deep guttural sounds, rapid fire of words as wel as high screches. Drums follow the trend of death metal using a lot of blasts, double bass and making the songs heavier. Guitars can be characterized by a sound that would show a blend of raw old school tones as well a good, heavy, new Death Metal sound."
