"Refusal is a death metal band from Helsinki and it was founded in early 2008 by Tero and Timo Pirhonen. The drummer Aleksi Roitto and guitarist Sophie Collard were found through the internet. Timo's old friend Niikka Lius joined the band as a singer.
Refusal has recorded six demos in total, with the latest being 'Grasp', which was released in May 2012. The musical style evolved from thrash metal into fast paced death metal after the second demo 'Next to Nothing'."
