"XYPHOS formed in Toronto in 2009. Comprised of the guttural vocal style and progressive guitar of Andrew Power, the crushing tone of guitarist Ahmed Ali, the aggressive blast-beats and grinding double kick of drummer Brody Overfalle and the unique approach of bassist Rory Kennedy, Xyphos is a band dedicated to their singular brand of death metal. Described as impressive and well rounded, XYPHOS deliver a solid mixture of aggressive and progressive death metal.
Featuring an impressive and forceful stage show, the band brings an intense energy to performing that is refreshing. This force was translated to their debut EP, “What Comes Before” when the band entered the studio with Geoff Hodsman (Creep Colony, Envenomation, Dimensions Divide) in July of 2010. Demonstrating a vehemence and passion rarely heard on a debut release, “What Comes Before” is the culmination of a wide range of influences.
Having released this EP, the band now turns their attention to the stage, having played with such bands as Archspire, Insurrection, Saprophyte, and The Isosceles Project. With plans for complete live domination, the band will bring their unique approach to death metal to any stage possible. 2011 is the year of Xyphos. "Masada was conceived in 2008 by guitarist Chris Milewski with the intention of not only creating aggressive music, but also something that involved a sort of uniqueness and actual thought. Shortly after, Chris was joined by renowned drummer Craig Smilowski (ex-Immolation, ex-Goreaphobia, Rellik,) bassist Matt Dwyer (Rellik,) and vocalist Cazz “The Black Lourde of Crucifixion” Grant (Crucifier.) In November 2010, about 6 years or so after being written, the recording of 2 tracks finally commenced. After numerous added delays, the 'Suffer Mental Decay' demo was finally finished and released on Judgement Day, May 21, 2011. Even with the release of the demo, the world failed to end... and here we stand!"

"We are Redneck Zömbiez and we play Gore'n'Roll. We'll record our first album shortly, wich will consist of ten original, gut-grinding tracks of awesomeness (title: Redneck Zömbiez & The Live Porkestra: Farmed & Dangerous), but before that we fucked this shed-demo together. It took us three long hours to record all three songs, and we made our first official video clip in three minutes and twenty-one seconds.
Right after the record we will start doing gigs: as many as our zombie powers can support - and also make a remarkable new video with rising zombies, eaten brains and barrels of beer.
We have a plan for a dead DVD too. Some insider info: it will feature Elvis Presley reincarnated in zombie form, abortion of a supermodel on stage (main tool to perform the operation: chainsaw) and so on in that fashion.
All of our lyrics have deep, sentimental messages (such as drink beer, have intercourse, play freaking loud music) and were all formed by classical poetry and touching emotions.
The biggest influence on our music was made by the following: drinking, sexual harassment, pork and any kind of meat, guts, garlic and onion, sluts wearing push-up bras and high heels and the hatred that we feel towards the pillow biters who drink lemon beer.
We dare to say that apart from the above mentioned our biggest hero is Lemmy. And Toxie of course.

"Voltumna was born in August 2009 with the entrance of the vocalist Simone Scocchera and the drummer Bruno Forzini,: who the band immediately esteemed for his ability, and consequently improved through private lesson and important world drummers such as David Folchitto (from Stormlord, Kaledon) and George Kollias (From Nile); with a sudden change of direction and genre, the band turned from a “shy” black metal to an “evoluted” Death/Black Metal with some traces of Symphonic and Progressive Metal based on the “true” Metal. The topics treated in their lyrics are inspired by the ancient Etruscan population compared with the modern society because everyone thinks that past brings the real truth and the only way to freedom. On 16th January 2010 the band published the first track, Black Hole, and after that the track Volsinii which leads up the band to their first live performance attaining to an excellent success. In summer 2010 the guitarist, Christian Mancin, left the band with the coming of a new guitarist ,Leonardo Farruggia; this change in the line-up brings successful results thanks to another live performance and the publishing in April 2011 of the first “creature” of the band: the EP 'Chimera' recorded at the Fear No One Records of Emiliano Natali who worked with Aborym for the recording of their last Cd, and with other famous Italian metal bands, as well..."
