"RAZORS EDGE is a hardcore/death/thrash metal act originating from Athens/ Greece. The band was formed in the winter of 2005 by Alex and George and few months later Tassos joined the band. The line-up was completed in the following couple of years with the coming Manos at the end of 2007. As a result, the debut demo CD 'Get the pleasure back' was released in 2008 and soon their first video clip was filmed, for the track 'Goodnight Suckers'.
Following the demo release, RAZORS EDGE performed several times in small gigs and metal-fests all around, giving them the opportunity to share the stage with several local bands such as: Lucky Funeral, Need, Planet Of Zeus, Beyond Perception, Audioblast, Echidna, Building Chaos, Pandora Opened The Box, Dark Vision and many more…Furthermore they were one of the supporting acts for The Lumberjack Feedback - Purify gig in Athens.
The gigs went on until June of 2009, when Manos parted ways with RAZORS EDGE due to various disagreements with the band members. He was immediately replaced by Jim, who joined the band one month later. The overall result was sicker and faster, with a tighter and harsher sound."
